Dedication of the Family Display Case
Join us for refreshments and dedication on Saturday, May 7th at 11:00 a.m., of the new Family Display Case in the children’s area. The donor, K. John McNellis (Graduate of WHS 1971), will be there to share the story of his summer storytime reading award 50 years ago and how that affected his life.
Linda Bauman, Children's Librarian, worked with Dakota Woodmen to design the crayon display which showcases American Girl Dolls and Lego constructions. The third side is for people (especially parents and grandparents) to bring toys from their childhood so children of today can see what the toys of yesterday were like.
The reception and refreshments will be at 11 a.m.
