Christmas Tree Fundraiser
Tis the season for giving and for Christmas trees! Join in an event that incorporates both.
Seven local non-profit organizations will have trees on display at the Watertown Regional Library Dec. 1-31. Visit the library and vote for your favorite tree. One dollar equals one vote. The Watertown Community Foundation will match up to $250 for each organization, and the winning tree/organization will receive an additional $500 from the Foundation.
Trees will be decorated by the Boys & Girls Club, Glacial Lakes Humane Society, Lake Area Zoological Society/Roots & Shoots, Mellette House, Watertown Resource Center, Watertown Regional Library and Watertown Volunteer Center.
The public is also invited to bring a nonperishable/unbreakable food item to the library for the Salvation Army food pantry during this time.
